Could someone with an TIS help me find the instructions to remove the cover for the active knee protector (driver's side) for a MY05 645ci or MY06 650i?

I recently took my 650i in for service and they replaced a steering angle sensor, which I suspected is located under the steering column (right behind the active knee protector, above the driver's knee). But when they reinstalled the cover, it was not properly seated and is now protruding from the dash.

I want to remove the cover and re-install it properly and I don't trust these guys anymore.
