I think it's fair to say that X5World is going to get plenty of new members as a result of this article, so who really cares about the few stragglers over at the other board.

As a recent member, I've noticed there is some friction between this board and the other one. Is there a thread that I can read which explains the details of this?

It has been years since I read a BMW board. I had a Z3 back in 1997-1998, and I used to read & post on a message board back then that was for Z3s. I noticed recently that the Z3 board from way back then was now apart of the archives on that other board. I know for sure it wasn't called that back then, but I found some of my posts in their archives. It's amazing that they still saved posts from 1998.

That said, the format on this board is so much better. They are still using the same interface from 10 years ago.
