Actually, the MP3 encoder will not work AAC music purchased from the iTunes store. It will generate the error message "Protected files cannot be converted to other formats."

The AAC file must be burned to a CD WAV file which will allow the CD to be played in a CD player. The next step is to take the same CD and rip the tracks in an MP3 format to your hard drive.

If you need help burning CD's or converting back to MP3, just shout out.
