Yeah, BB...I realize the deal. I only do it on occasion.
It's worth the risk in regard for a plateful, "best served cold".
And, Edit:
After getting the same "pitch" from 8 or 9 dozen "diff. senders"
over the past 6 months, I guess they had not given up on
my ol'email being "live" or, not. That is precisely the prob., imo.:
the email lists are distributed to hundreds/(thousands?) of
senders/bots, whatever. They simply throw out millions a day
and never fookin stop no matter whether the email sendee is
long gone, dead, did respond, did opt out, didn't respond, etc.
There is considerable Urban myth floating around about this crap
too. I obviously don't click on bullcrap,etc. A little fun "reply",
on occasion, in the scheme of things, has seemingly very little
effect on how much I get or don't get.
My ISP is cheese and I know it, but I don't need another ISP or
email, or...
