There was a piece in GQ magazine a few months ago. One of the writers went across the enitre country with $20-$100 bills to see what "extras" he could get in certain situations. He said the opportunities were almost endless. He even said he got moved to first class on flight twice by slipping the desk clerk $50. Room updgrades, champagne, VIP entry at several clubs, etc. He said NYC was most generous to an occasional "slip" of a nice greenback. It was very interesting, but I wouldnt have the balls to try it in most cases. Maybe the next time Im stopped for speeding, Ill give it a shot. NOT!..LOL..
