From the looks of it, it might even be possible to buy the 4.8is front-end and have a good body shop modify the curvy parts on its top to be flat and true to the 4.4i body line - this then skips all the fuss about getting new fenders and eyes and would then be an overall cheaper solution for a whole new front end...now THAT i will consider.
