Lately, my 3.0i has had occassional (but occurs daily) sluggishness turning over. The starter seems to crank ok, but sometimes it has to crank a 3 or so seconds to turn over. Or, sometimes it does this, I turn the key back, then turn the ignition on again and it fires right up. It's not the battery-it's brand new (2 weeks old).

I suspected the starter first, but lately I'm thinking it almost feels like fuel isn't getting through enough to ignite (sound like it makes sense). I just had an inspection 1 last week (second one, Im at 84k miles).

Any input, thoughts or suggestions on this are greatly appreciated!
