Well what do you expect. If BMW designed its vehicles to simply cruise their reliability would be a lot better.

BMW's are meant to be driven - hard. And they are. You can't push the envelope and expect amazing reliability.

However, the new-gen BMW's do hold a lot of promise... (in terms of reliability)
