Just a dumb idea...why not create something like a flight pass whereby you can pay $30 bucks or $50 bucks and go through a rigourous back ground check, get a highly secure bio-metric pass or smart card, and use it as a form of security clearance when travelling--your account, your stats, all this comes up when you reserve, ticket, board, etc and this allows airlines to focus their attention in other areas, like 19 to 32 year old males in student visas, etc. There has got to be a smarter way.
