I just finished my retro-fit on my X5. What a difference! When I went to the dealer to get various parts for the conversion, they asked me if I was doing a retro-fit. I told them yes, and they were cool with it, they said I was the fifth or sixth this year doing it on a bimmer. I still need to re-adjust my lights, they are aimed too high. Good luck with the future retro-fit. They are plug-an-play.
I got them from a member here (although he doesn't post), but I contacted him at bimmerfest.com. His username is Zulu95, he made custom relays for my X5, so I wouldn't get error codes. He even wrote a DIY here on X5world. Here's the link

Again, Good luck with everything!
