Lebanon's government is a Democracy with the leaders pro-U.S. Hezbollah has cabinet seats but they consist of less than 10% (I believe the actual number is 3-5%). Last year Syria was inside Lebanon and they controlled everything. They left because Lebanese people went into the streets because they accused Syria of killing the pro-west leader (Haifi?).

Lebanon has no army. Their army is basically a security force if that. Lebanon is very vulnerable to civil war. They just had a very bloody civil war not too long ago. They could not stop Hezbollah without destroying their country.

You can blame the UN for not doing anything about Hezbollah. The UN is a joke.
