If you have downloaded them all you need to do is extract the iso file from them and burn it as an image.

2. If included, do I have to convert them to an ISO image before I can burn them onto a DVD or is the file extension .rar that of an ISO image?
|
See above. Just click on the first of the 28 rar files and a single iso file will be extracted.

3. Under 2 of your instructions) I have downloaded the latest 'pocketgps_europe.asc' zip file from Pocket GPS World. Where should I extract it too?

Any suitable folder on your hard drive.

4. Under 3 b) I'm unable to access the ASCI to IDX/URL Mk4 convertor.

It appears this link is now dead. I have added it to the folder containing the 28 rar files.

5. Could you please expand on 4) & 5), I'm not sure if I understand these.

4) File open. Locate the asc file and open it. Now go File > save and select TomTom asciII from the bottom drop down list. Now save it.
5)Open the command prompt by going to the start button, slect RUN and type CMD, press enter. You will get a black dos box. Type CD\ and press enter. Now type C\XXXX\: asc2idxurl_mk4 CAMERAS where XXXX equals the directory the asci file is in.

6. Lastly, how do you keep the camera information up to date? Do you have to go through this procedure each time there are updates or is there a quick fix?
|
No, just create new CAMERAS.idx and CAMERAS.url files each time.
