I don't remember which leather we have in my wife's 2001 X5, but if it is in fact the Montana leather then I like the Dakota leather in my 545 better. It seems like it is more resistant to cracking and deformation than our X5's leather was at the same age (yes, I have used leather conditioners on both).

I think I had Nappa on my '95 M3 and it was a bit too fragile. I did not have kids back then, but if I remember correctly and my M3 did in fact have Nappa then I would not want to have it with the kids now on the E70. I also like the coase grain leather look better than the fine grain/smooth leather.

If the Nevada leather is as good as the Dakota in my 545 then I will be happy.
