The ability to acquire knowledge is well within the capabilities of our young people. However there are too many distractions that inhibit learning. Teenagers are always testing the limits and school is more than just learning.
I don't like blue hair but it really does not distract the teens (maybe an old person like you). The wonderful thing about Americans is that we are able to be are own person and innovate instead of being a conforming drone.
