In my area, the power to my house flickered a couple times but never really went out. A few trees were down (thankfully, not ours) and leaves blown everywhere. However, my school lost power at 12 and never got it on until 2:30. To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off, which forced us all into the wind and rain for about 30 minutes (with many of us unable to get our umbrellas). I wouldn't be surprised if 100 kids called in sick with pneumonia on Tues.
It was all cold and raw and nasty

. I had to use heated seats (lowest setting) to keep warm when getting into the car outta the rain.
