E70 will come with optional (??? - it depends on model / package/ market) rear-axle only air suspension with self-leveling. It will be available from launch (end of March) in Europe, so I'm sure US market is getting it too.

Mind that E70 has almost identical suspension to E65 7-series: front - double wishbone, rear - IV Integral, Adaptive Drive (Dynamic Drive active roll stabilization + EDC Electronic Dumper Control) with Sport mode, self-leveling rear air suspension.

So, no adjustable ride height with also front-axle air suspension for the time being.

Adaptive Drive with Sport mode + self-leveling rear air suspension + Active Steering is really more than enough for ultra-dynamic driving without compromising ride comfort; for soft off-roading; for towing; for loading the car; etc.

E70 (despite some features are different / missing) is definitely not inferior to E53 but much superior. It's a pity Dynamic xDrive will not be offered right now (will debut in X6; E70 will likely get it with the mid-lifecycle facelift).
