Wallingford is approx. ½-hour south of where the Hartford Whalers used to play, less than one hour south of
Bradley International Airport, which is a user-friendly, nice little airport. If you'd rather take a train, it's less than ½-hour north of the Amtrak station in New Haven.
Wallingford is also approx. one hour west of
Mohegan Sun, 1½-hours west of
Foxwoods, less than 2 hrs. northeast of NYC, slightly more than 2 hrs. southwest of Boston, and less than 2 hrs. west of Providence.
Big Flats is in the Southern Tier of upstate NY, south of the so-called Finger Lakes Region. It's approx. 45 mins. west of where my son currently lives, 1½ hours west of
Greater Binghamton Airport, and 3½ hours southwest of Labatt Country (Albany). I'd call the Big Flats area quite rural. Quite.
She's definitely got legs. Clearly, she knows how to use them.
