Expensive to insure though. I was gonna recommend the Civic, but then I realized its pricey on insurance also. However, it's really not a bad car; drives better than it looks. Good fuel economy with a slightly involving driving experience (moreso than most compacts). The only thing better I recommend is a Mini, which is more expensive, more fun, less go power.
