Good points. I asked him the same thing. I think he's more of a guy who wants a sports car to look good in. He's not going to do DE's or track a car. It's funny that you made the comments you did because I too covered the "how about an E39 M5" topic since that would be, as I described to him, a car that has gobs of power, maturity, elegance, and prestige, is instantly recognized and appreciated by enthusiasts, and able to eat up some serious sport coupes.

He did start off by saying that he wanted a sports car with no compromises in terms of doors or seating. It then shifted to "I do need 4 seats", back to the two seater when I suggested he keep his Exploder.

Who knows what he'll do but it is fun vicariously spending other people's money. Thanks for the feedback guys.
