I agree w/Vig that you should have a crush washer...now, your
decision is, "do I drain that sumbitch again, simply to put on a
crush washer?!" I'd vote for no...your "leak" maybe some drained
oil that has simply accumulated around the drain panel: stlrs
usually leave a real puddle there, which drips for days after they
change the oil.

I'd pop that panel and make sure the area is clean and dry; then,
if your drip continues, make certain it is from the drain plug and
not from the oil drain "area".
