Not at all. With the air suspension the ride it still soft and cushiony and the truck doesn't sag is the back. I'm on the highway doing 80-90 miles per hours.

I'm still confused about the what type of hitch reciever you have. The one on my X is a 2" square hole for inserting tongue/ball. Do you have a picture?
