Hmmm. It could be a very subtle facelift or more likely, a very minor visual distinction for the 335i sedan vs. 330/325's. I wouldn't call it a facelift per se.

I don't like it anyway. The part that frames the kidneys and goes down to create the license plate area is awful. It looks like cladding in the shape of big plastic fangs. Ewww.
