Your chicken and egg are backwards. The war is being fought so that the money can be spent. The attacks justify the wars, which justify the high spending. High spending = huge profits. One is done to justify the other. War is big business, and those controling the purse strings are the war profiteers themselves. There is a reason that two-thirds of the Defense Policy Board are made up of current and former board members of major military contractors. If you think that is just a coincidence, then are you are extremely naive.
