Lam - OK, you got me here. Generally, I don't disagree with you too much, but this is called politics, and freedom to do it is what the country is all about.
Hell, GW can barely claim military service.
Given the size of the country and the size of the military, there are plenty of us around that have not served in the military, and every single one of us has the right to question our government. In fact, it's actually our duty as the framers intended. They didn't fashion the Constitution to create a country of lemmings.
It's just that some of us are idiots, and some of us aren't. It's up to us all to sort 'em out.
Everything in BB's life is colored by his hatred of the President. I may not agree, but it's his right to do so. In fact, I might even pretty much ignore everything he writes (at least related to politics), because every new contribution further pushes him over the cliff of irrelevance. Everything in Eric's world, evidently, is colored by conspiracy theories. Again, not my deal, but his right to do so.
It's called one man, one vote. It ain't perfect, but it's doable.
It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried.
