Also, there is LG's Steakhouse in La Quinta (I personally like LG's Steakhouse because it is locally owned, nationally known....& it is not part of a big chain like Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Sullivan's, etc.)

There is also a local steakhouse in La Quinta as well called Falls Prime Steakhouse and Martini bar.....if you love martini's, you'll love this place....

All good suggestions although I do have my own opinions about those places. The great thing about this area is that there is just about anything for any taste and many of them are in La Quinta.
I'm sure that there will be plenty of fun to be had and it might just wind up never leaving The La Quinta Resort from the sounds of things.
