You have to pull straight out and you need a lot of force to remove the black housing. Then you can remove the lens to get at the bulb. I don't know if you read my post about the base of the bulb change but if yoiu have the base with the notchs`in it it is NO LONGER H 11-55 watts.Your guess is as good as any body else what the NEW PART # IS. PS If you decide to take it apart and take the bulb out that has the notchs in the base see if you can get the part # off the bulb. Thanks
