G, I thought I was the only one.
After nearly 30 years of eating in resturants 150-200 nights
per year, I'm hard pressed to get enthused about "going out"
for dinner, looking at another rest. menu, etc.
We eat at home, a lot, mostly due to those decades of
"eating out on the road".
If you don't eat out often, in your job, I'd rec'd hitting a
resturant that is very different from what you are used to:
eg a Spainish/Portugese joint in the IronBound sec of EWR,
or a Thai joint, or India food joint: some diff. tastes and
foods you aren't "used to" can give your T Buds a kick.
As for home snacking, my former/current & main Monkey is
dark chocolate as in 60% cacao: once hooked one is hard
pressed to go back to milk chocolate, et al.
A handful of walnuts, a half bar of 60%, a qt of milk and
I am endophined out for a few...
