Question What happens when you have more phone numbers than the ULF has room?

I just got my new Blackberry 8100 Pearl. This is a very cool phone!

However, RIM, in their infinite wisdom, decided that the address book "Hotlist" feature is no longer valuable, so they deleted it from the Pearl!

As a result, the address book transfer for the Pearl is an all or nothing thing. (Every other Blackberry with Bluetooth that I have seen has the hotlist feature. I spoke with RIM directly, and confirmed that they removed the feature from the 4.2 OS.)

My problem is that my phone will not stay connected with the car when I have address book transfer enabled. I do not know if the problem is bad characters in the address book or if it is just too many entries. I have somehting like 450 phone numbers (and 380 contacts) in my database. I am trying to figure out if having too many phone numbers will crash the connection, or if the problem may be something else?
