Yes, X5 will still have top performance version, but whole X5 model line will be positioned below X6 performance wise.

Still the performance version of E70 X5 will be able to reach 0-60mph way below 6 seconds. But this treat will come with a price. Quite a price.

It's like saying "Da*n, my E60 545i is slower than E39 M5". Of course it is - since one is a regular model with V8, the other performance model with V8. You are mixing apples and oranges here.

Btw, are you buying a SUV for racing around? For drag racing from trafficlight to trafficlight? Wow!

But if you really want a performance SAV-ish vehicle wait for X6. X5 is not for you.
