When Harry Potter first came out, there was a lot of talk about that. We had our children read the book to us so we could make up our own mind. For those of you who don't know, those books are long, like 800 pages. My wife stuck with it to the end, but I ditched after about 100 pages.

You keep a third grader reading through 800 pages, and you've accomplished something.

People should actually take a look at them, and then decide.

The movies were cool, too.
