I hear ya. Fortunately for me I am rarely seen wearing anything but jeans and a T-shirt so I don't worry about shirt cuff's. However, on the occassion I do get "dressed", I never have a problem with my cuff's.
But Gresch, also keep in mind, there is actually very sound logic for today's growing standard. It's a simple reason and owning a few big watches I can testify, it's the smart decision.

The reason is: Big watches are much easier to read. I have very good vision and going back to small watches makes me crazy.
