I agree that unless the Stlr is giving you some special deal, your
'01 with 58K is long gonzo from being in warranty and one cannot
do the BMWMutha official extension, once you are out of orig.
warranty.

You have a couple options: your friendly local Stlr may be humping
a 3rd party extended warranty or, Warranty Direct is a decent
3rd party option: http://www.warrantydirect.com/index.asp.

Also, do some reading on the thread that QwkAg posted.
