Just a few more questions I apologise if they sound stupid but I really have no idea about cali.

What is a better place to stay, desert springs or Palm Springs, which has more to do? How far is desert springs from west fest? I think The La Quinta Resort is going to be to expensive for us to stay in as would like to stay for 5 days we are in that area, so not to keep moving around.
