Hi thanks for your reply what exactly are you using to do this?
Is it dealer equipment or something you have at home?
I am happy we have proved this unit is a monochrome one it even sends messages to my message centre in my car (in German)
I have read appys comments but I don't own a BMW The car I am working on is a Rover 75 which has the full BMW nav and Ibus installed
Could you tell me more about the equipment you used to recode the MK4 can I build one using a spare PC? if so I would expect the procedure might work on the Rover the same as it does in a BMW, worth a try don't you think?
If not does anyone know a BMW dealer in the UK that has done this?
