With one of, if not thee worst start in franchise history, I can do nothing but shake my head and live in denial. There was all sorts of talk over the summer about the team signing "faster" players especially on the blue line to keep up with the new pace of the game. 1 of those players has already been waived (Baumgartner).
It's terribly disappointing and it's better to be honest about it I guess. The Flyers are off to a pitiful start

I'm sad. In all the years of being a Flyers fan, I don't think I've ever experienced a season like this... even those seasons in the 90s when they didn't make it to the playoffs.
Granted, the calendar still says it's football season, and there is a lot of time for the Flyers to turn things around. However, this is not how I wanted to see the season start, or have the first month of hockey end.
7 games played, 1 - 5 - 1, 3 points.... last in the NHL
LET'S GO FLYERS
