OK, I spoke too soon. The transmission still selects too high of a gear during normal driving. I think the transmission just shifts way to often, probably in an attempt to get better gas mileage.

noncom23, correct...it was not a free oil change but worth the money. Continental Motors in Oceanside, CA only charges $54.00

How did you make out with the transmission software upgrade?

After shifting the transmission manually, I decided that there has to better software out there. I hate that it shifts the second after you take off and always grabs a high gear when slowing down to make a turn.

The sport mode is better, but not optimal for normal non-aggressive driving.
