Rubbish!!! Switch the ignition ON then hold your finger on the "EJECT" button while you hear the CD/DVD unit whirring. It may take up to 30 seconds or so -but the CD/DVD WILL eject! There is absolutely no need to p**s around with removing power cables!!!!!!

BMW has some of the finest automotive engineers on the planet. Unfortunately, all finite instructions are only available in German - they have a lesson to learn there - but Germans don't understand that most of their customers understand English.........
