That is not quite true for plntzas. He has a MKIII unit, with software that is earlier than 3-1/40. For any MKIII unit with software earlier than 3-1/40, a Key-CD is required to upgrade the system, so he needs to get the Key-CD first. Any upgrades post version 3-1/40 will not require this Key-CD.

So what plntzas needs to do is to first upgrade with the V18 disk , and then he can perform a 2nd upgrade using the V22 disk, which will give him operating system version 3-1/63, which is the last upgrade available for the MKIII.

I didn't miss the Radio + OnBoardComputer view - so I'm very happy with the newer look and feel of the split screen.

But everybody has their own preferences, naturally.
