I recently fitted Bluetooth in my 2001 (nov) X5 to replace the factory fitted Motorola system. Everything works fine and the female voice on the VR is the same as before but now it's destorted. I have checked for bent pins, dirt etc on the plugs but can't find anything wrong. I bought the unit from the USA and wondered if the European ULF's are somehow configured differently? Or perhaps this is also a coding issue. I called my dealer and they want $200 plus taxes to look at it! Any suggestions?
