Today at 4:00PM it was 30*C (86*F) before the humidex.

At 4:30PM it was 20*C (68*F) and no humidex. That is an 18*F drop in temperature in just 30 minutes.

At 4:55PM, it started POURING with a severe thunderstorm. Within 10 minutes, 1 FOOT of water accumulated in my patio, and my first floor is now wet.

Freak of nature! It's still pouring as we speak. Luckily all my electronics are on the 3rd floor, and the X5 is in the underground garage.

I say...WTF!!!

EDIT: The lightning is followed by instantaneous thunder. The thing is over my place it seems. Any ideas on how to remove water from your home? I haven't seen such down-pour since this one storm in Bulgaria in 1999.
