I have a BMW X5 2001 3.0, with a problem such as a sharp whistle noise that occurs only when I press the accelerator pedal at any speed, however, if I pressed the pedal further in or not touched at all the noise goes away, it happens also in reverse. Could someone suggest what it may be the problem, your help will be appreciated?
