Here is what I do when a telemarketer calls.

I answer:
Hello?

They say, is Seth there?
I say hold please, let me get him.

I then put the phone on speaker and go back to doing what ever it was I was doing before they called.

In about a minute or two, they say, Hello? is anybody there in an aggraveted voice..

I answer and say, Hello, who are you holding for?
They Say, Seth.

I say, Please Hold, let me get em.

I put them back on speaker and repeat...

It really annoys them.
