I'm planning on installing the antenna inside the spoiler so it's not visible. Question I have is, do I have to place it on top of a metal plate of some kind or can I just stick it to the inside of the spoiler using the adhesive backing? By the way, in case you're wondering, I have a 2004 X5 with Nav and DSP.
