Yesterday I decided to upgrade my Mk4 navi to OS version V28.

I burned a disc image of the upgrade cd with Alcohol 120%
and all the files were there on the disc.

When I inserted the cd to the navi, it first said:
"CD-rom in navigation computer
Loading software" but after that the screen went blank.

I waited for 15 min, but it stayed blank.
I burned another copy but this time it stayed blank from the
beginning.

Today I also managed to find a update-cd with version v27 that had already worked with another BMW. It didn't work for me. My screen stayed blank
with that disc too.

What more can I do? I would really appreciate good advise..
