I actually don't see a problem with Microsft trying to 'protect' it's product. The language in the kit does seem a bit outdated but not too different that Sony's PS3 review kit or Bose LS58 test ket.

Considering the Microsoft's recent past, I'm actually surprised there wasn't a lot more. No, I'm not a Microsoft fan (nor hater), but imo it only makes since to protect themselves.
