I tried this the other day, and when I slammed on the brakes and came to a stop, it made a rough squeal. I am not sure if it helped or not. Today, I went out this morning and powerwashed the rotors. I looked at the pads, and I was able to see some of the pad, and it looked like their was about a little more than 1/4 and inch of pad on the front and about 1/4 inch of pad on the back. I think my pads were changed back in March or April, I am not sure. I asked my dealership how much it would cost for new brakes and rotors, I do not think that these are covered under my CPO, and they said that it was $600 per side.
