Has anyone tried this phone yet?

There's a guy over at howardforums.com who got it to work fine with an '06 550i with the iDrive system. He said everything works fine, except no phone book transfer.

Does anyone know how close the 5-series iDrive system is to the 06' X5 Bluetooth/Assist package? Is it the same bluetooth module?
