i own the nuvi...a couple of cool features i dont think were mentioned. 1) its the size of a deck of cards, so when traveling somewhere, you can throw it in your pocket, change it to pedestrian settings, and use it for walking around. i live in nyc and tested in in the village (off the "grid") and it worked perfectly. 2) u can buy SD cards for different countries. in september i went to italy and rented a car. i inserted the slot, and drove from bologna to parma, modena, and around the countryside. italy is tough sometimes no matter what but it was pretty helpful being able to look at the map, and listen to directions in english. i also used the nuvi to find my way in venice, which also has a lot of twisty/windy streets seperated by a lot of small canals. battery life unplugged isnt great, if i remember correctly about 2hrs.
