Second, every time a change the track, the volume drops out for a half second them returns. This happens every time.
Lastly, it seems like the sub is not utilized when playing music using the DICE. When I turn it to SIRIUS, the sub acts normally, but back to DICE, it is hardly there.

I have a similar problem with bluetooth calls -- after the call ends, the DICE resumes playing music fine, but the text display disappears. All I get is "TR1", "TR2", "TR3", etc.
At that point, nothing will bring back the text except shutting off the engine for a while. I've tried CD6/Track4 but it doesn't restore the text.
If you are making an outgoing call, you can avoid this problem by changing the source on the Business CD to AM or FM before activating the handsfree bluetooth system. Then make your call. When your call is over, you can switch back to the DICE.
I have not experienced any of the other problems you listed. Balance is fine, and sound level does not drop when changing songs.
As info, here is my setup: 2005 X5 with Business CD. NO DSP. NO NAV. iPod is the new 80 gig video model.
