Good choice young man.
I have a Streamlight Stinger with an AC and 12V charger for the car. It is probably the perfect flashlight. It's small enough to be convenient but big enough to be a good utility flashlight. It also is very bright. It's brighter than my 4D cell Maglight while being much smaller. I got a Bianca Accumold ASP baton holder for it, which is a perfect fit even though the holder is made for an expandable baton. The Streamlights are very durable and reliable whereas my Sure Fire has been very bright but I've gone through several bulbs just from dropping it.
I got a great deal on mine through a law enforcement source but you can try
Botach for a pretty good price on the Streamlight products.
